"Easy to adjust tips when needed"
One thing I really like about DoorDash is how easy it is to change the tip if the delivery takes longer than expected or if the driver goes out of their way. Isn’t that how it should be? It feels fair, and it’s not buried somewhere complicated in the app.
The flexibility is a big plus too. Plans change, right? I can order when something comes up, adjust things if I need to, and most of the time it just works without turning into a whole hassle

I was disappointed because the price I saw while shopping wasn’t the same once I got to checkout. I’ve ordered from other places where the total stays consistent until taxes or shipping are added, so this felt a bit frustrating in comparison. It made me second-guess the purchase because I wasn’t sure which price to trust.

"Delivery notes aren’t always followed"
I left a clear note asking them to leave the order by the side door, but the driver still rang the bell. Not the end of the world, of course, but kind of defeats the point of adding instructions. The food was fine and showed up on time, so no complaints there, I just wish the delivery notes were actually read more carefully.

I’ve used a bunch of food delivery apps, and DoorDash is definitely one of the easier ones for me. The app is simple, and the website works fine too. I can usually place an order quickly without digging through a bunch of confusing menus. Compared to some others, it just feels more straightforward overall.

I use DoorDash a decent amount, and from what I’ve seen, the menus usually line up well with the actual restaurants. I can’t say I’ve checked every single item or anything, but the prices, options, and add-ons have mostly been right when I order, which saves me from that annoying call saying something isn’t available.
A couple places I order from even show the spice levels and side choices correctly, so my food usually shows up the way I picked it. Maybe I’ve just had good luck with the restaurants near me, but it’s made ordering a lot less frustrating. 5 stars from me

"Payments are usually fine, but promos should be handled better"
I use doordash regularly, and for the most part the payment side has been smooth. My card stays saved, charges show up quickly, and I haven’t had any random double charges or anything like that, so I usually don’t stress when I’m placing an order.
The only frustrating time was when a promo didn’t apply at checkout and I had to back out and redo the whole order. It wasn’t a huge disaster, but it was annoying enough that I feel like some kind of credit or compensation would’ve been fair, especially since the issue was on their end. Overall, payments work fine, but they could be better about making it right when promos glitch.

"It was okay, just not that great"
My order got here on time, so that part was fine, but the food itself was kind of just average. The fries were a little soggy and the burger was warm instead of actually hot, which made it not taste as good as it usually does. Nothing was missing and it was still edible, but it just wasn’t the best by the time it arrived. I’d probably use DoorDash again, but I guess it depends on them and how it shows up.

"Refund process feels really unfair"
My order showed up missing about half the food, and DoorDash only offered me a small credit instead of an actual refund. I opened a dispute, but the replies felt like the same copy-and-paste message over and over. It took way too long and still wasn’t properly resolved. I’ll use DoorDash if I really need to, but the way they handle refunds doesn’t feel fair or worth it.

"Easy Cancellations When Plans Change"
I’ve had to cancel a few doordash orders when my plans changed, it’s been easy every time. The app clearly showed me what was happening, and I got my refund or credit without having to keep following up with anyone. I’m not saying everything is “perfect,” but when it comes to cancellations, it’s been “reliable” for me.

I use doordash often, and the promos make it cheaper than I thought it would be. DashPass has been worth it for me too, especially since I get free delivery from a lot of the places I already order from anyway. It’s not perfect every time, and a few issues I’ve had felt preventable, but overall I’ve saved a good amount and it’s just really convenient.

"DashPass was fine, but cancelling was a bit irritating"
I was ordering DoorDash often, so getting DashPass seemed like the normal smart thing to do at the time. It did help with some fees, but somehow the final total still felt like, not exactly cheap, especially once tips and random other charges were all in there.
The billing part is where I got kind of annoyed. I forgot it was going to renew, and then the charge just showed up on my account. I’m not saying it was hidden or anything like that, but it also didn’t feel very in-my-face clear to me, if that makes sense.
When I went to cancel, it took more clicking around than I thought it should. Like, it wasn’t impossible, and I did get it cancelled eventually, but it felt a little more annoying than it needed to be. Overall DashPass was okay, just the ending part left me feeling not great about it.
